A convex polygon of $n$ sides is decomposed into $m$ triangles with disjoint interiors, so that each side of those $m$ triangles is also the side of another adjacent triangle or of the given polygon. Show that $m+n$ is even. Knowing $m$ and $n$, find the number of different sides that remain inside the polygon and the number of different vertices that remain inside that interior.
