Question 95

A local supermarket is responsible for the distribution of $100$ supply boxes. Each box is ought to contain $10$ kilograms of rice and $30$ eggs. It is known that a total of $1000$ kilograms of rice and $3000$ eggs are in these boxes, but in some of them the amount of either item is more or less than the amount required. In each step, supermarket workers can choose two arbitrary boxes and transfer any amount of rice or any number of eggs between them. At least how many steps are required so that, starting from any arbitrary initial condition, after these steps the amount of rice and the number of eggs in all these boxes is equal?
