SMO 2007 Junior Round 2 Question 1

In the following figure, $AB\parallel DC$, $AB=b$, $CD=a$ and $a\lt b$. Let $S$ be the area of the trapezium $ABCD$. Suppose the area of $\triangle BOC$ is $2S/9$. Find the value of $a/b$.
