Metal sphere X has a positive charge and metal sphere Y is uncharged. X is moved close to Y but the spheres do not touch. Y is then earthed by touching it with a wire connected to the ground. The wire is then removed and X is moved far away from Y. What is the final charge distribution on X and Y?
