In triangle $ABC$, $X$ and $Y$ are the midpoints of $AB$ and $BC$, respectively. Let $AY$ and $CX$ intersect at $G$. If $AG=12$, $CG=16$ and $XY=10$, find the area of triangle $GXY$.
