Question 26
We consider a $11 \times 10$ cm rectangular table. The table is divided by parallel lines to $110$ squares of side $1$ cm. We have tiles of cross shape, consisting of $6$ squares of side $1$ cm, as in the figure. Determine the maximal possible number of non-overlapping tiles we can pack in the table such that each tile is covering exactly $6$ small squares of the table.
