I meant to add two numbers together and then subtract a third number. Unfortunately I got my plus and minus symbols the wrong way round. But I was lucky! The answer still came out to be correct. Which statement must be true?
  1. The first number equals the sum of the other two.
  2. The third number is the difference between the other two.
  3. The first and second numbers are equal.
  4. The second and third numbers are equal.
  5. The third number is zero.
