IKMC 2008 - Grades 3-4 - Self-study Question 16

We have a large number of blocks of $1\times2\times4$ cm. We will try to put as many of these blocks as possible in a box of $4\times4\times4$ cm so that we can close the box with a lid. How many blocks fit in?
