Two groups of pupils take turns saying numbers. Group 1 starts at 1 and each next pupil in that group adds 3. Group 2 starts at 50 and each next pupil in that group subtracts 4. The first pupil of group 1 speaks, then the first of group 2, and so on alternately. What is the first number that has been spoken by two pupils?
